Grassroots Rural Health Club
Affiliated with the University of Auckland for Nursing, Medicine, Optometry or Pharmacy students, Grassroots puts on awesome educational, sporting and social events which showcase what rural life has to offer those in the health field and are not just geared towards rural students – everyone is encouraged to get a taste of what rural healthcare entails.
The Wellington Boot – affiliated with The Wellington Health Professional Students’ Association (WHPSA)
WHPSA represents the interests of medical students, radiation therapy students, and physiotherapy students studying at the Wellington School of Medicine. Their work involves advocating for the rights and well-being of their members, as well as organising a range of social, academic and welfare events throughout the academic year.
Country Scrubs Rural Club is an undergraduate health science student club affiliated with the University of Otago in Christchurch who invite students from all health sectors and backgrounds to get involved with lots of social and educational events.
The Matagouri Club is an undergraduate health science student club affiliated with the University of Otago with a distinctly rural flavour. We involve all Dunedin based students from all health sectors and backgrounds (even you city dwellers) from not just the University but also the polytechnics to get involved and excited about rural health! Throughout the year there are many social and educational events.
